This image is made with two early photographic processes, the Cyanotype and the Van-Dyke-Brown. These two processes interfere with each other, the brown selectively bleaching the blue. Here I have used two separate negatives, a cemetery shot and a self portrait, both of which were taken for the Ghost theme. The negatives are 5"x4" in size. The large negatives are necessary because the printing method is by contact using Ultra-Violet light. Although the edition is 25, each image is unique because of the hand coating of the light sensitive emulsions.
