Bones, skulls in particular, have held a fascination with me ever since childhood. As a visual artist and someone with a strong interest in science they hold a double attraction. All the skulls photographed are found objects, stripped of meat and other soft tissue by animal and insect, they are the rejected remains. Just the calcified framework is left and even this is rejected by the earth, as time slowly petrifies the osseous matter into fossil.
