"In "the taxidermist," I have fashioned an image of Anthony Perkins, in the role of Norman Bates, into an image of my own. Here, I've imagined him into an angel of darkness, lording over the small people who enter into his purview.
This image is created from a collaged negative. I appropriated the image of Norman Bates from a super-8 promotional copy of Hitchcock's "Psycho," and collaged it with photos of x-rays and old family negatives. It's held together with scotch tape." JGJ
