Memento Mori
The hour glass, the skull, the extinguished candle, daguerreotypes of the dead, time pieces, the Grim Reaper, funereal architecture, the danse macabre, the Mexican Day of the Dead, flowers, rotten fruit, death masks, empty vessels, the cast die… all serve to remind us of the transience of life. For the next issue of Sein und Werden I want you to subject me to the horrors of your little deaths and your dark reanimations.
